The Podcache Show Episode Twenty Eight

This month we go into space (sort of). Tracey talks to two lady cachers, one of whom was just starting out and the other who had just found her 36,000th cache. We have some ideas for Christmas caching gifts, an ammo can to be won and something to do on Christmas Day instead of watching Mary Poppins. We attend an event in Cambridge and finish off with a story that put geocaching in the news again

We chat to Jim Berk from The Caching Place website and have an update on the Sidetracked series. There's a chat with attendees at our International Geocaching Day event and the result of our Travel Fleas competition. Cachers we've met this month get the chance to talk about their favourite caches and the show ends with an enormous AAAAWWWWW as we introduce Cache the geopuppy, the new member of the Amasons team.

Ian from The Hartsholme Explorers becomes our latest roving reporter with a report from a caching trip to the Angel of the North. In our latest episode we speak to Paul Collins of The Geocache Tourist website and Richard Harrison about the Lincs Monthly Meet trip he organised to Saddleworth Moor. The Amasons join Ye Olde Boilers to attempt a series on Lincoln's South Common and Pete hunts for a multi cache that hasn't been found for over a year. Pete and Tracey embark on an epic days caching which nets our 900th find and we consider re-naming the show 'When Animals Go Wild' after a run-in with stampeding horses and hunting dogs.

The Podcache Show Episode Sixteen

In our first episode of 2013 we speak to Steve Anderson of Hazumu Trading Cards. We accept a challenge to find a cache blindfolded and speak to a 13 year old cacher with an impressive number of finds. Cacher Walktall has time for a quick chat before attending an end of the world event and Tracey's cousin Ian of The Hartsholme Explorers faces a dash to reach 400 finds, without transport before the end of 2012.
