In this episode I’ll be visiting one of the oldest caches in these parts and also announcing a travel bug race starting in the New Year. We’ll visit our technical department to answer a listener’s question; they’ll be a craft lesson from myself, a musical interlude and we’ll finish off with our popular Podcache Show guide to Stealth and Invisibility.

Netty's Song (to the tune 'Early one Morning'
Early one morning
Before the sun was rising
I went off a caching, with travel bug in hand!

Please don't berate me!
Please do not scold me
For the da-amned mermaid would not fit in the can!

Not to be out-do-one
I tried to force her i-ii-in
But she just refuu-used to slip in to that can!

Please don't berate me!
Please do not scold me!
Try as I might I couldn't force her in the can!

Rather hot and bothered
I hatched a cunning pl-aan!
Popped her in a plastic bag, and left her close at hand!

Please don't berate me!
Please do not scold me!
Try as I might I couldn't get her in that can!

and Just Alan's lyrics (to the Lumberjack Song)

I'm a geocacher, I'm okay.
I sleep all night and I cache all day.

Cachers : He's a geocacher, he's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I put 'em in trees, and under rocks.
I hide them in ivy.
On Wednesdays I go shoppin'
And buy Tupperware in threes.

Cachers: He puts 'em in trees, and under rocks.
He hides them in ivy.
On Wednesdays he goes shopping
And buys Tupperware in threes.

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I wear bright clothes. I cache at night.
I like to frighten cats.
I wear my head torch round my waist
And look a proper prat.

Cachers : He wears bright clothes. Caches at night.
He likes to frighten cats.
He wears his head torch round his waist
And looks a proper prat.

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I hide micros. Small nano's too,
Male torso's and a Bat.
I wish I'd been a techie
Just like the great Web Rat.

Cachers : He hides micros. Small nano's too,
Male torso's and a Bat?!..........

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.
